Meet Patch.

Patch came to live in our shed around the winter of 2020. She swapped shelter for mouse deterrence skills and has been a constant presence around the house and garden ever since.

She has a kind but strongly independent nature. You might find her patrolling the surrounding area, snoozing in the sun, or passing silent judgement from a distance while I work in the workshop.

An accident with a car in her younger years meant she had to lose a leg to save her life. She now lives her best life on three paws — and gave Three Paw Forge its name.

When she’s in the mood for company, she’ll flop onto her side and invite a brush from whoever is willing to oblige.
